On November 29, 2019, Nadine Pébère (SURF team of CIRIMAT- UMR5085), Director of LIA FOCOMAT (Materials, Environment and Health, Bio-based Composites) since 2013, received the Friendship Medal, awarded by the President of the Republic of Vietnam, Mr Nguyễn Phú Trọng, in recognition of her strong involvement in the collaboration between Vietnam and France, in particular with the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), and the Institute of Tropical Technology (ITT) for nearly 25 years.
