[INDONESIA] - Call for Joint Research Proposals Nusantara 2020 Program

NUSANTARA program is implemented in France by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI), and in the partner country by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (KEMENRISTEKDIKTI).

The calls for applications for this program are launched on an annual basis.

Types of projects involved

The objective of this program is to develop scientific and technological exchanges of excellence between the research laboratories of the two countries, by encouraging new cooperation and the participation of young researchers and PhD students.

Projects submitted must be in one of the following fields :


- * Agribusiness ;
- * Energy, including renewable energies (thermal and nuclear power plants, geothermal energy, wave energy and marine currents, bioenergy, bio fuel, solar energy, etc.) ;
- * Health and medicine ;
- * marine and maritime sciences and oceanography ;
- * Transportation : land, air, naval ;
- * Information and Communication Technologies ;
- * The human and social sciences ;
- * Advanced materials, such as nanotechnologies ;
- * Preserving the environment : animal and plant biodiversity, water, soil, climate change ;
- * Assessment and prevention of natural hazards and/or natural disaster management including early warning systems involving geological, seismic, volcanic, climatic and geomagnetic sciences.
