The ATIP-Avenir program began in 2009 following the merger of the ATIP programs of the INSB CNRS and Avenir of Inserm, to help young researchers and biology researchers to become autonomous.
The ATIP-Avenir program began in 2009 following the merger of INSB CNRS and Avenir of Inserm ATIP programs, to help young researchers and biology researchers to become autonomous.
The objectives of the program :
* Allow young researchers to set up and animate a team ;
* Promote mobility ;
* Attract young leaders of high level teams to French laboratories.
Specifics of the program :
Amount allocated : 270,000 euros divided into 60,000 euros of operation per year, the laureate 3 years contract if not statutory, and a 2-year fixed-term contract for a postdoctoral fellow. The program is of 3 years duration and can be extended by 2 years after evaluation.
Launch of the ATIP-Avenir 2019 call for application
As part of a partnership, Inserm and CNRS are launching a call for tenders to :
enable young researchers to set up and lead a team, within a research structure in France affiliated to Inserm or CNRS. The teams thus created will be designed to reinforce the research facility of the host organization by developing, autonomously, their own theme ;
promote mobility and attract young leaders of high-level teams to the laboratories.
