Vietnam : CBID Summer school in Computational Biology for Infectious Diseases

The school is organized in 5 parallel thematic groups for 8 days including plenary lectures, technical lectures, practicals and group projects.

CBID Summer school in Computational Biology for Infectious Diseases, 2nd edition ICISE, Quy Nhon, Vietnam

The trainings will be given by leading experts in their fields, with strong teaching experience for beginners. More information at www.cbid.asia

For : students, researchers and professionals in human, animal and plant health based in Asia. Candidates from the modeling sciences interested in health applications are also welcome to apply ;

Level : beginner/intermediate ;

Language : English, good level required ;

R : some of the thematic groups use the R software. Some acquaintance with the R language are required for these group, the minimum being to follow the free 4-hour online course www.datacamp.com/courses/free-introduction-to-r before attending the summer school ;

Venue : ICISE (International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education), Quy Nhon, Vietnam : www.icisequynhon.com ;

Cost : fee and accommodation are covered by the school. Some travel grants are available upon application with justification ;

Number of places : 90 (18 per thematic group) ;

Selection : Candidates are selected on CV, letter of motivation, letter of recommandation, and level of English ;
