IPBS seeks to recruit a new junior group leader with a strong track record in the field of tuberculosis (TB) or other bacterial respiratory infections to join our faculty composed of over 250 researchers and support staff, including more than 60 national and international postdoctoral fellows and PhD students. The selected candidate is expected to develop a highly competitive research program in the field ofTB or other bacterial respiratory infections, with a strong focus on the biology of the pathogen(s). Topics related to mechanisms underlying bacterial persistence, drug resistance or tolerance within the host, as well as drug discovery, will be favoured.
