QuESTS aims to bring together researchers from Singapore and Grenoble to exchange, network and initiate collaborations on the active and flourishing topics of quantum engineering. Grenoble, a prominent scientific powerhouse in France, and Singapore, the scientific powerhouse in South-East Asia, both attract leading experts in quantum technologies, for example at Néel Institute (in Grenoble) or the Centre for Quantum Technologies, a research Centre of Excellence of the National Research Foundation (in Singapore). This conference is thus conceived as an incubator designed specifically to foster future collaborations between Grenoble and Singapore through the CNRS-UNS-NUS-NTU International Joint Research Unit MajuLab. The symposium will strongly benefit from the involvement of Thales Research and Technologies France as an industrial partner.

It is supported by the French Embassy and Institut Français in Singapore through the PHC Merlion programme.
