Each year, IRASEC conducts a competitive selection of two to three scholarship awards for research and publication support.
Priority is given to Ph.D. candidates reaching the near end of their thesis/dissertation and to Ph.D. recipients. These scholarship awards are aimed at furthering preliminary fieldwork (thesis/dissertation chapters, etc.).
The research project proposal should preferably be related to IRASEC’s four priority research areas :
- Political Transitions (political cultures, civil society, ethnic and religious nationalism)
- Territorial Challenges (maritime and land spaces, natural resources, sustainable cities)
- Social Dynamics (law, education, health, women’s rights and status)
- ASEAN : economic perspectives and regional integration
